Ryoo Seung-wan's action-comedy is one of the most kinetically joyful Korean films of its decade: Hwang Jung-min's detective is an entire comic performance built on physical commitment, and the film uses class comedy as its target with surgical accuracy. The truck driver injury becomes a class-war thriller carried entirely by comedy.
