A girl bumps her head and realizes she's been reincarnated as Catarina Claes — the villainess of an otome game she used to play. Every ending in the game leads to Catarina's doom: exile or death. So she starts doing the work of avoiding those endings: being nicer, building friendships, changing the story. The joke is that she's so genuinely kind in trying to survive that everyone falls in love with her, including all the characters whose affection was supposed to go to the game's actual heroine.
