Go Tae-rim has never lost a case. He is also vain, mercenary, constitutionally incapable of sympathy, and the most entertaining person in any room he enters. The Korean remake of the Japanese legal comedy imports the premise — an undefeated defense lawyer who cares only about winning pairs with a young idealist who cares only about justice — and runs it with Jin Goo at full charismatic swagger. The show's thesis is that the legal system is a game and the only honest thing is to admit it, which makes the arguments against that thesis more interesting than the arguments for it.
