K-dramas took over my life about two years ago. I went from casual viewer to the friend who corners people at parties like "okay but have you SEEN Signal though??" I was deep in it.

I started mentally cross-referencing every Western show with K-dramas in my head. Friend loves Suits? She needs Vincenzo immediately. Obsessed with Breaking Bad? Stranger or Connection — no question. The vibes, the tropes, the emotional beats just... mapped.

So I started searching: was there an app that did this? Something that took a Western show and found you the K-drama, C-drama, or J-drama equivalent. I googled everything. I asked every Asian drama community I could find.

Nothing. Every recommendation site was generic "top 10" lists with no connection to what you already love. Totally useless if you're trying to convert a friend.

So I built the app I wanted to exist. That's DramaMatch.
